Where would you send a small semi automatic pistol to be engraved? How much would it cost?

I don't know about the plating/engraving process. I just wanted to ask about when you sent that PPK back. As I understand it, within the past year the BATFE "reinterpreted" its rules about shipping firearms so that getting a gun back from a repair shop might be considered as a new transaction, NICS paperwork and all.
