Taurus tcp 738 (380 acp) mag issues?

bought the tcp 738 and I'm happy with it, except for the mag, when fully loaded it wont seat all the way in the gun. there is about a 1/16" gap between mag and gun, daylight can be seen through gap easily. any help in appreciated
