PLEASE HELP! HI-POINT WONT WORK?

its a hi point model JHP 45 acp. well anyway i stripped it to clean it the other night and i got it back to condition but the magazine wont go back in. i looked to see what it was and there was this thing just sitting there inside blocking the magazine. i looked on the paper and it looks like the magazine lockout but how do i fix this?
